This is a 2-part arrangement of “On The Sunny Side of the Street” , written by Jimmy McHugh (music) and Dorothy Fields (lyrics), and featured in the 1930 Broadway stage production of “International Revue”.  Though the show was a flop, the song survived and quickly became a jazz and pop standard.  Over the years it has been recorded by such artists as Billie Holiday, Ted Lewis, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Tommy Dorsey, Stevie Wonder, Jo Stafford, and Cyndi Lauper.
