Chords - Not Just For Playing Backup!

In this class, you will learn the secret to finding the melody as it “falls out” of the song’s chord progression. You will start by learning basic chord formations and locating them up and down the fretboard. By the end of this class, you will understand how to learn new tunes by starting with the chord progression. (DAd Tuning)

Intro to the Art of Playing with a Flat Pick

In this class, you will learn how to hold a flat pick, which direction to pick, and the technique of picking individual strings. You will discover how to pick the melody while traveling across the fretboard or provide accompaniment to other musicians. After drilling these techniques, you will have the skill to apply this to other tunes you already play. (DAd Tuning)

Power of 3 Chords

Did you know that the majority of tunes can be played with just 3 chords? In this class, you will learn where and how to make these chords followed by a 3-chord jam - I will call out the chords while you play along! By the end of class, you will start to feel comfortable playing back-up at jams alongside other musicians.
